Meet the Mid-Missouri Auctioneers & Dedicated Staff Managing Behind the Scenes at Atterberry Auction & Realty Company

Crystal Elliott

Owner, Office Manager

Crystal and her husband, Tim, purchased Atterberry Auction & Realty Company from Larry Atterberry Jr. and his wife, Marla, in July 2019. Crystal is a 1998 graduate of Hickman High School and 2002 graduate of Columbia College where she received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in Management and Finance. Crystal and Tim have four daughters and enjoy attending sporting events and traveling in their free time. Crystal is well known around the community as a loyal supporter of Mizzou Athletics, Columbia College and Columbia College Athletics, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School, Father Tolton Catholic High School, and various other charities and organizations. Her formal education and lengthy experience in the insurance industry prepared her to single-handedly act as the Accounting and Human Resources departments of Atterberry Auction & Realty Company. A Missouri native and long-time resident of Columbia, Crystal is proud to be a local business owner and Columbia Chamber of Commerce member.

Marla Oglesby

Broker/Real Estate Auction Consultant

Marla Oglesby began her career with Atterberry Auction & Realty Company in September, 2013 working alongside Larry Atterberry Jr. as Real Estate Auction Assistant. She acquired a Missouri Real Estate Salesperson license in February, 2014. In 2016 she earned the designation of Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate from the National Auctioneers Association. She went on to obtain a Missouri Real Estate Broker license in June 2020. Her passion is to develop a professional and positive relationship with clients, assisting them from beginning to end of the Real Estate Auction process and beyond to life-long relationships. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan and two children, Kenlee and Jacob on their small cattle farm near Harrisburg, Missouri.

Ryan Madison

Auctioneer & Personal Property Specialist

Ryan is a second-generation auctioneer, originally from Bethany, Missouri. Growing up around the auction business, it has been something he’s always wanted to do. He went through Missouri Auction School, the same one his dad went through. Ryan came to Columbia in 2004, where he played on the Mizzou football team from 2004 to 2008. He spent 12 years at an online mortgage company before joining Atterberry Auction & Realty Company in February 2024. Ryan spends his free time with his wife, daughter, and son. They love camping and Mizzou football games. When on his own, he spends his time hunting, fishing and going to dirt track races.

Laura Wagner

Real Estate Assistant

Originally from St. Louis, Laura moved to Columbia to attend college, and graduated with a degree in Middle School Science Education from the University of Missouri. She also earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Columbia College. Laura worked closely with Atterberry Auction and Realty Company for several years before joining the team in 2022. She acquired a Missouri Real Estate Salesperson license in 2023! Laura helps with all of the behind the scenes tasks required for a successful real estate and personal property auction. She enjoys spending time with her husband Danny and their children, and loves Mizzou sporting events and exploring trails around mid-Missouri.

Kaylee Pringle

Personal Property Coordinator 

Kaylee Pringle was raised in Fulton, MO, and attended Carl Albert State College in Oklahoma. After graduation, Kaylee spent 16 years in Arkansas before returning to Missouri to be closer to family. Prior to joining Atterberry Auction & Realty Company as a Personal Property Coordinator, Kaylee worked as a Training Coordinator in the food and beverage industry, where she had the opportunity to travel the world training others in customer service and hospitality. Kaylee has visited 10 countries around the world including multiple journeys to Japan, South Africa, and China. After many years of traveling, Kaylee became a stay-at-home parent, raising her two little ones on her and her husband Blake’s hobby farm. With their children starting school, Kaylee returned to the workforce when she joined Atterberry Auction & Realty Company. Kaylee enjoys volunteering in the community, gardening, and camping with her family. 

Personal Property Team

Julie Begemann and Brenda Hughes lead the personal property team at Atterberry Auction & realty Company. They assist with listing, photographing, and editing online personal property auctions. Julie and Brenda assist buyers with locating their items during pickup days. The personal property team also includes Jim Peterson, Ralph Twellman, Leigh Moreau, Alan Bergfield, Charlie Kmucha, Carolyn Donley and Bob Atkins.

Fulfillment Team

Tracy Allison handles fulfillment and shipping services for Atterberry Auction & Realty Company. She ensures items are safely transferred to the buyer after pickup.
